Video Of Chris Berman's Golf Swing Is Going Viral

Chris Berman is a golf aficionado in addition to being a broadcasting legend, but he's much more adept at the latter than the former.

Berman was in Connecticut on Wednesday for the annual Travelers Championship Pro-Am.

The longtime ESPN star played alongside former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie and others, one day before the pros teed off "The Fifth Major" at TPC River Highlands.

Berman, a Greenwich, Connecticut native, is 69 years old, so no one is expecting him to be an athletic specimen.

Still, his golf swing is pretty ugly for someone who has been playing the game for a while.

Last night on SportsCenter, Scott Van Pelt poked fun at his colleague as ESPN showed clips of Berman hitting a few, including one shot of him teeing off alongside video of world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler doing the same.

Poor "Boomer." Berman also went viral for a photo of him looking a little ragged on the course.

As for the actual Travelers, 21-year-old Tom Kim of South Korea got off to a blazing start Thursday, shooting 8-under to put himself two shots ahead of the field heading into Friday.

A quartet of Americans--Akshay Batia, Rickie Fowler, Kurt Kitayama and Will Zalatoris--are tied for second at 6-under, while Scheffler is one of seven players deadlocked in sixth at 5-under.
