Le'Veon Bell Is Still Furious With Ex-Jets Coach Adam Gase

Bell spent just 17 games with the Jets after signing a four-year $52.5 million deal with them in 2019.

He previously held out from the Pittsburgh Steelers before signing that contract.

Even though it's been a few years since he was with the Jets, he's still upset with former head coach Adam Gase for some of the plays that he'd call.

"I still randomly think about how PISSED I used to be in the huddle when Adam Gase would call '21 dive' on 2nd & 10," Bell tweeted.

"That’s a HALF BACK DIVE FROM SHOTGUN for the people that doesn’t understand what that fully means," Bell added.

He then added another tweet, saying that former Jets quarterback Sam Darnold would be shaking his head in the huddle while reading the play.

Normally, a 2nd & 10 is a passing situation but Gase didn't see it that way at times during his tenure in New York.

After Bell was released by the Jets in 2020, he went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He hasn't played in an NFL game since the 2021 season.
